Build Independence That Actually Lasts.

Daily Living support should build real skills in real life, not manufacture compliance in a session. Our approach works with your participant's neurology, their sensory profile, their pace.

What Daily Living Support Covers

Home & Self-Care

Cooking, hygiene, household tasks, medication management, taught at a pace that respects how your participant learns.

Life Admin

Budgeting, appointments, correspondence, and the administrative load that overwhelms most people, support to build genuine capacity.

Routines & Executive Function

Building sustainable routines that work for neurodivergent brains, not a neurotypical checklist imposed on someone who processes differently.

Skills First. Dependency Free.

There is a meaningful difference between doing things for a participant and building their capacity to do things themselves. Every session at VitalCore is oriented toward the latter, and our workers are trained to recognise when they're crossing that line.

We match workers to participants based on neurodevelopmental fit, not just availability. Someone who understands demand avoidance won't push through a shutdown. Someone who understands sensory processing won't create an environment that shuts a participant down.

Daily Living support is a good fit if…

Your participant has goals around independence at home

They need support with routines, executive function, or self care

Previous support has felt compliance focused or counterproductive

You want a worker matched to their neurodevelopmental profile

How this is funded

Daily Living supports are funded through your Core Supports budget, specifically the Assistance with Daily Life category. If you're unsure whether this is in your plan, your coordinator can check. We're also happy to look at your plan with you before you commit to anything.

My support worker doesn't just do things for me. She teaches me, and then steps back. I can make my own meals now. That sounds small but it changed everything.
