NDIS support for complex needs: Built for the referrals that come with a reason attached

People usually get declined for one of two reasons: complexity or distance. These are the people we were built for, and there’s no minimum package size.

Complex Autism

Autistic adults and young people with high support needs, including people whose supports have broken down before.

How we support complexity

What support looks like

  • A worker matched to the person, not just whoever’s free
  • The worker’s profile sent to you before their first shift
  • Trained in the person’s plan and behaviour support plan before day one
  • The same familiar faces, kept steady with monthly clinical supervision

Intellectual Disability

Daily living, community access and skill building, including participants with a dual diagnosis.

What we deliver

What support looks like

  • Help at home with personal care, meals and the weekly routine
  • Getting out to appointments, shopping, social groups, sport and study
  • Building everyday skills at the person’s own pace
  • A place to live (SIL or medium term accommodation) if that’s needed too

Behaviours of Concern

Participants with a behaviour support plan, or who need one. We implement it, and we implement it properly.

How implementation works

What support looks like

  • Workers trained in the plan’s strategies before the first shift
  • Refresher training every two months
  • Shift notes with the detail your practitioner needs at review
  • Incidents reported within 12 hours, every time

We work alongside your behaviour support practitioner. No practitioner yet? We’ll help you find one.

Psychosocial Disability and AOD

Recovery-focused support for people with psychosocial disability, including alcohol and other drug involvement. Recovery is yours to define. We don’t decide what a good outcome looks like for someone else.

What support looks like

  • No judgement about history, relapses or setbacks
  • Everyone involved, from worker to coordinator to family, working from the same information
  • A team whose roots are in mental health and AOD support work

MS, MND and Muscular Dystrophy

Progressive neurological conditions, where support has to change as fast as the condition does.

What support looks like

  • Personal care and daily living support at home
  • Supports reviewed and adjusted as needs change, not once a year
  • Community access, so life keeps happening outside the house
  • Accommodation arranged alongside supports if it’s needed

Remote and Very Remote Queensland

People in Cooktown, Hope Vale, Wujal Wujal and the surrounding Cape York communities, with funding sitting unused because nobody will travel. We organise the travel.

Not on this list?

Supporting someone living with dementia, or someone involved with the justice system? Our specialist brands, Dementia Care Queensland and Forensic Disability Supports Queensland (FDSQ), were built for exactly that. For anyone else, just ask. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
